Cricketers will miss game
Ihe 1000 or so players whose clubs are affiliated to the Christchurch Suburban Cricket Association will not have the opportunity to watch ihe one-dav international between New Zealand and India next month. Inter-club fixtures in all grades have been scheduled for February 21. although no games will be held on February 7. the Saturday included among the dates for the second test of the Indian tour. Mr I. J. Bet t ridge, the president of the suburban association, said yesterday that his management committee had adhered to a policy that the inter-club programme be suspended only when it would c lash with a. full test.
