'Copter takes injured to hospital

Two Waiouru Military Camp Iroquois helicopters today flew five seriously ill people to the Wanganui Base Hospital after a three-car collision six miles south of Waiouru, on State Highway One. The accident happened, about 2.30 p.m., on a tight; bend when two cars, one i carrying four Samoans, and; the other a mother and three children from Wellington., collided head-on.
