Child dies
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL A 15-month-old child drowned near Waitunn Lagoon, on the Southland {coast, on Monday afternoon. IHe was Jered David Bruce, son of Mr and Mrs W. A. Bruce, of McQuarrie Street, Invercargill. The police said the boy's body was found at 5.30 pm. in a creek near the lagoon, where the family was on holiday.
