chance to take this race for third time. Timaru RIGID (race 7), 5 g. Majestic Chance — Teena Marie; trained at Christchurch by 11. W. Townley. Showed much ability to finish second at Ashburton on Boxing Day after breaking badly at the start. Looks to have great chance of breaking through for his first win in a field lacking a really strong form runner. Vincent WHITE ARROW (race 1), ch c, 3 yrs, by Aristoi—Lady Clairol: trained at Invercargill by J. A. Gordon. finished second to Ellery Jane in Southland Guineas last Monday with several better fancied three-year-olds behind him. Has a long list of planings and from his inside draw appears to have this race sewn up. Wellington LIVING DOLL (race 9), blk m. 5 yrs, by Lordship—Queen's Coronet: trained at West Melton by J. S. Dalgety. A consistent performer racing well lately. Good third at Canterbury Park meeting on January 2. Should be in the money
