RISES OUTNUMBER FALLS ON QUIET N.Z. MARKET
Although rises outnumbered falls by four to one, on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, the bulk of the rises were made up of shares which had not traded in the last few days. Movements amongst the leaders were small, and a large number of sales occurred at unchanged prices. However, the market remained firm, and turnover nearly doubled.
