Born in] 1 Dunedin, he went from Otago J Boys’ High School to the ' (Dunedin office of Reed’s, and), (was later transferred to Well- ‘ (ington. , He served in the Royal i(New Zealand Navy during [the war, and after his return to civilian life he was ap- I (pointed sales manager and;' (then a director. 1 ; Mr Kennedy was an ad;viser and coach of harriers;' [in Wellington, was a memberT (of the council of the Bible? I Society, and had served on ■' (the council of the National Scout Association. ' I He was a former secretary ( of the Cusenaire Company of 1 'New Zealand. Limited, and • secretary-treasurer of the Alfred and Isabel and Marian Reed Trust. Mr Kennedy is survived by his wife, one son. and four daughters.
