Dead man named
The man who was killed when he was struck by a motor-cycle near Dunsandel early on Mondav morning has been identified. He was Thomas Patrick Coomey, aged 49, of 24 Florence Street, Newtown, Wellington. Mr Coomey was a Social Security beneficiary of Irish birth. The accident occurred about 3 a.m. on Monday. It is believed that Mr Coomey, who was carrying a pack, was trying to hitch a ride when he was hit by the motorcycle.
