Doctors wait in Darwin
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON.
Permission for four New Zealand doctors to enter Timor has not yet been granted by the Indonesian Government.
The doctors have now been waiting in Darwin for six days for permission to enter Timor.
“There has been no substantial change in the situation. “The Indonesian Red Cross and the International Red Cross are still negotiating.” the New Zealand Red Cross secretary-general, Mr J. W. Talbot, said.
