Ambassador dies

WASHINGTON, Dec. 28. The Australian Ambassador to the United States, Sir Patrick Shaw, died on Saturday after a heart attack, a senior embassy official said. He was 62. Sir Patrick had been Australia’s envoy to Washington since March, 1974, He is survived by his wife, Lady Shaw, and two daughters. who are now in Australia.
