Director of wool firm dies
The death occurred recently of Mr Graeme Wal- ( ter Hill, who was well- ( known in the wool trade and in Christchurch business circles. Mr Hill, who was 48. was la director of the wool-buying 'firm of Walter Hill and Sons (N.Z.). Ltd. Born in Christchurch, he (attended St Andrew’s College and Waitaki Boys’ High (School at Oamaru. He studied law at Canterbury University College in 1947 and 1948, and at the University (of London in 1949 and 1950. In 1952 he entered the [wool trade with the family (firm of which his grandfather was the founder, and (about 1965 he became a dirlector of the firm. In 1953 he was a member [of the group that founded the Round Table service organisation. He became the [first vice-president of the ’organisation, a position (which he held for two. years.
