ROCK KILLS MAN

(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI. A Raetihi man died after he was crushed by a rock while working in bush on Monday afternoon. He was Clive Edward Reid, aged 38, married, with six children. The Raetihi police said Mr Reid had been working with a team felling trees at Ruatiti, near Raetihi, when a tractor working nearby dislodged a large piece of rock, which rolled down a slope and pinned him against a log.
