(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, Dec. 19. A light aircraft from Tauranga and two boats searched the sea off Whangamata today for a man and a youth overdue on a fishing trip. The search was unsuccessful.
A Whangamata fisherman, Phillip John Francis Hocquard, aged 50, and a 15-year-old boy, Geoffrey David Leov, left Whangamata in a 28ft launch Twilight at 4 p.m. yesterday, but failed to return when they were expected, at 2 a.m, today.
