Mr Trevor Chinn, of Christchurch, a glaciologist, flew home from Antarctica today a master of science. ; He learnt of his success in (final examinations by field radio while traversing the dry valleys region of the transAntarctic mountain range recently. His degree is in glacial geology. A Ministry of Works scientist, Mr Chinn has been leading an annual glaciology and hvdrologv studv of the dry; valleys for the last seven ! weeks.
