The programme for the bari rler trials at Addington today ! is:— I 1 p.m.—CO pacers B grade. 1.20 p.m.—CO pacers B grade. 1.40 p.m.—CO and Cl pacers. 2 p.m.—Co-C6 trotters. ' 2.20 p.m.—Co and Cl pacers. ' 2.40 p.m.—C2-C4 pacers. | 3 p.m.—Cs-OC pacers. 3.20 p.m.—Three-year-olds. I 3.40 p.m.—Two-year-olds. I 4 p.m.—Two-year-olds. Rugby.— The Sydney club competition will be extended next season from 14 teams to 1.6. Plans to add two extra sides were approved earlier in the year, but doubts arose when several clubs questioned the wisdom of spreading talent so widely.
