Bulk power tariff awaited
Electrical supply authorities still await news from the Minister of Electricity (Mr Bailey) as to what the new bulk tariff will be. “We must know the position — and the longer we (are left without the knowledge, the more difficult it will be to frame the new retail tariffs by April I.’’ said (Mr L. F. Chamberlain, chairman of the Central Canterbury Electric-Power Board, at jits meeting yesterday.
