Malaria case reported
One case of suspected malaria was reported in the Christchurch Health district last week. The medical officer of health for the district (Dr L. F. Jepson) said that the person would “almost certainly be” an overseas person. Quite a few cases of malaria were reported throughout the year in the district. One case of salmonella and one of hookworm were also reported. ;;
