Avondale Cup
The list of riders tor the Avon dele Gold Cup was completed today except for Ake Ake and Laurence Charles who, along with the other horses balloted Out seem to have little chance of gaining re-entry to the field. The mount on Captain Peri has gone to K. S. Cullen and T>. J. Wyatt. N. G. Harris and 8- P Thomson will be on the last-start winners San Fran, San Micrelle and Ari. Conditions continued very favourable. the weather being fine and sunny and the track in excellent order for the big day on Wednesdav. Selections:— 2.5 p.m.—High-weight Handicap: Jack Johnson, Reprint, Red Valley. 2.45 pm.—Mercury Maiden: Tisca, Kylaka, Gold Chimes. 3.25 p.m.—Aspiring Handicap: Persian King. April Wine, Sea Egg. 4.10 p.m.—Portage Handicap: Elton, Rosie Two, Bahwood. 4.50 p.m —Massey Handicap: j Mighty Shifnal, Cheeky Countess, Stellar Belle. 5.30 p.m.—Coe Handicap: Oriental Prince, No Surender, Albacore. 4.20 p.m —Gold Cup: Rosie's Girl, Black Rod, Jandell. 7 p.m.—Club Handicap: Tonic Time, Patronire, Leprechaun. 740 p.m.—Stewarts' Handicap: Good Gift, Chrisarda, Blue Blood
