Royal George returns to Orari, the scene of the first of his two wins last term, and should be one of the better chances in the Geraldine Cup tomorrow. Royal George confirmed his Addington placing when he fought on for a close second to the more tightlyassessed Armbro Song at the Meth ven trials on Tuesday.
In or Out, the backmarker, will not be out of proceedings even front 40m. She showed great brilliance when she was
successful on the final night of the Cup meeting, recording 2.31.8 for 2000 m. This race is unlikely to be quite so testing and, with a reason able run, she should be in the thick of the finish.
Ad Infinitum. Dragon's Dream. Bound to Be. Scottish Chat, Living Doll and Bronze. Regal are others quite cap able of taking a prominent part in the finish. Form shown at the New Zealand Cup meeting should' prove a valuable guide to. prospects in the second leg. the President’s Handicap There and Back had a third and two seconds at the Addington carnival, beating all but Olga Korbut at his most recent start. Esteban was third in that race and he, too, must be a top chance over a sprint distance as he is usually such a reliable beginner. Andrew Lopez, a winner on November 18. Ganya, Eagle Dale, Jenlight and Vince are others entitled to consideration.
