FALLS BY LEADERS WEAKEN NEW ZEALAND MARKET

The New’ Zealand sharemarket leaders faltered in busy trading yesterday, and the market was weakened by their mainly small losses. Second-line stocks made up most of the rises, which outnumbered falls by a narrower margin.
