Donation to Sir Edmund

Press Assn—Copyright) TOKYO, October 27. , The Japanese Foreign Ministry will co-operate in’, handing over to Sir Edmund Hillary, the first conqueror of Mount Everest, a donation ! raised by a group of Japan- ’ ese painters. The painter, Tsune Seino, : aged 64, who first met Sir ; Edmund in Nepal 10 years ' ago, collected funds amounting to nearly SNZ3OOO to be used for Sir Edmund’s activities to help Sherpas in Nepal, the Ministry said.
