Better offer for McCabe
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON Richardson McCabe and Company, Ltd, has received a new take-over offer which! is “substantially better and! more acceptable than the! Niven Industries, Ltd, offer,”! the directors say. The statement, signed by; the chairman (Mr K..| Christie), said the directors would recommend that the new offer be accepted. Details supporting the: board’s recommendation would accompany the new offer, but meanwhile shareholders were advised to reject the existing offer, and, not to sell their shares.
