No trace of fishermen
(N.Z Press Association) BLENHEIM, Oct 3. The police failed in a ground search today to find two Blenheim fishermen who have been missing since their 16ft runabout sank off the coast, south of Cape Campbell, late yesterday. Six men will resume the search at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
The two missing men are Kevin Thomas Wilson, aged 45, married, and Kevin Thomas Verry, aged 20, single, both of Blenheim. A third man from the boat, Bernard Pedersen, also of Blenheim, reached the shore and after a two-hour crosscountry walk raised the alarm at a farmhouse.
