The Director’s own field of scholarship may be in any area of European culture, but i he will be expected to have a wide range of interest and contacts. The Director will also hold a Chair in the University. His term as Director will be a matter for agreement with the University, but his appointment as professor will be until retiring age, i.e., 65 years. Salary will be sAust2s,oBo per annum.
