Mr Walding is still confident
<N.Z Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. October 3. The Minister of Overseas Trade (Mr Walding) is still confident New Zealand will get a substantial increase this year for its dairy exports to Britain. Mr Walding. commenting on a report from Brussels that it is difficult to find support for his assertions from anyone familiar with the case, said: “The final proof will be what is actually accomplished, and that will be available within the next couple of months for everyone to judge whose comments were right. “I still stick by what I said, and the comments I made at the time. “I am confident we will get a satisfactory outcome. I recall the same type of pessimistic reports coming from London before we received the 18 per cent adjustment last year.” REPORT, PAGE 3
