MYSTERY AILMENT
("The Press" Special Service) HASTINGS. The Hastings sprinter, On Show, will probably not race again this year. He is suffering from an ailment in his forelegs, the cause of which Is unknown. He is lying down for parts of the day while he is in his yard, something he never used to do, said his trainer. Marlene Todd. On Show will probably be taken to Gisborne by his owner, Mr Arthur Kent. On Show, a five-year-old son of Showoff and Kinsel, had the potential to win in the best metropolitan class. He was fourth in the sprint at Hastings last week.
