WESTLAND CATCHMENT BOARD KONGAHU SWAMP DRAINAGE SCHEME—KARAMEA, CONTRACT NO. 75/14 TENDERS ARE INVITED for the construction of the drainage channels in the above scheme. The work involves excavating and spreading approximately 235,000 cu. yds of spoil over a total length of 15 miles 30 chains. The Kongahu Swamp is adjacent to the State Highway and south of the Karamea River. The work is suitable for dragline equipment and the time allowed for completion of the works is two years.
