Situation:— A strong westerly airstream flows across the Tas- 1 man Sea and New Zealand. An anticyclone over the north Tasman Sea is moving eastwards towards Northland. Forecast:— Marlborough, Nelson: Fresh gusty north or north-west ' winds about Marlborough.! but moderate to fresh j south-westerlies in Nelson; fine and mild, apart fromh
some showers on the western ranges. Buller, Westland: Moderate westerly winds, but occasionally strong in southern Westland; generally cloudy, with occasional showers in the north, but more overcast skies with periods of rain in the south; moderate temperatures. Canterbury; Moderate northeasterlies on the coast, fresh westerlies inland; fine and mild. ! Outlook: Similar weather.
