BASKETBALL TOURISTS
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The first, boys and girls national secondary schools basketball teams to tour overseas start a tour of New Caledonia and Fiji today. The teams, which will play three games in New Caledonia before travelling on to Fiji, are: Boys.—S. Brown (captain). P. Campbell, M. Hawken (Auckland): C. Senton. J. Caldwell, M. Belcher, P. Howell (Christchurch); Q Ahmu (Hamilton); W. Meehl (Dunedirt); I. Johnson (Napier). Girls.—D, Morrissey (Tokoroa, captain); D. Smith (Rotorua); J. Cook (Hawera), L. 'Wright (Nelson). A. Taylor. B. McLeod (Christchurch); C. Mouwens (Hamilton), M. Hoffman, C. Hebenstrelt (Dunedin); A. McLoughlin (Thames Velley).
