Girder falls on man
A man suffered an injured] leg when a steel girder fell! on him at the Addington Rail-1 way workshops yesterday. Trevor Alan Caird, aged 26, | of 519 A St Asaph Street,] was treated at Christchurch; (Hospital and discharged. A 35-year-old man was admitted to the Princess 1 Margaret Hospital after a] jtaxi and a car collided at the] i corner of Knowles Street and Jamieson Avenue about 81 a.m. yesterday. Desmond Brown, of 23 j Glade Avenue, Avonside, • suffered head and chest injuries in the accident. Hisl condition last evening was! reported to be satisfactory.
