TRISTRAM WINS SNOOKER
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Kel Tristram, of Auckland, won his second national snooker title in two years at Wellington on Saturday night. Tristram beat the well-
performed Lance Napper, of Otago, by four frames to three in the final. It was a tense, exciting final, Tristram really taking control only in the last frame, which he won 82-34.
In this, the deciding frame, Tristram shot to a 52-0 lead but Napper refused to concede defeat and plugged away till the end.
