Rumanian scorers
The fly-half Mihai Bucos, scored 30 of the Rumanians’ 89 points on their eightmatch New Zealand tour. Bucos' kicked six penalty goals, two dropped goals, and three conversions. The Rumanians scored 11 tries in their eight matches, with the wing, Petrica Motrescu, fly-half Dumitru Alexandru, and the half-back, Mircea Parachiv, each getting two. The next highest scorer for the Rumanians was the fullback, Radu Durbac, who kicked 10 points—-two conversions, a penalty, and a dropped goal. Opposition teams scored 11 tries against the Rumanians, five of them by Manawatu.
