Tour ends on Minning note
Shirley Boys’ High School finished its North Island tour on a winning note at Napier. The forwards playing magnificently, Shirley beat Napier Boys’ High School, 11-3. David Campbell and Andrew Scarf scored tries for Shirley and Scarp also kicked a penalty goal. Shirley started its tour badly with losses to Westlake High School and Tauranga Boys’ College, but had a victory against Gisborne Boys’ High School before its Napier success.
