Port Hills history
Sir, — I am in the final stages of writing a comprehensive history of the Port Hills, a territory extending from Godley Head to Gebbie’s Pass, on the Christchurch side of the Summit Road, and including all the valley and hill settlements in between. If there are any persons with family information, anecdotes, research materia! or photographs who could help me — and whom I have not reached so far — I would be most grateful if they would contact me by phone or letter as soon as possible. — Yours, etc.. GORDON OGILVIE September 3, 1975.
