Design workshop projects
Fifty-five senior students from districts between Westport and Invercargill have been selected to take part in a workshop where they will investigate the design careers available to them, and try their hand at projects based upon them.
The workshop has been organised by the New Zealand Industrial Design Council. and will take place at the Christchurch Arts
Centre. Worcester Street, from Monday. September 8. to Friday September 12 inclusive
Bret de Thier, a Christchurch graphic designer, and Jeff Chapple, a free lance product designer from Auckland. will be full-time tutors to the budding designers. There will be talks on architecture, landscape architecture, design for exhibitions, interiors, stage, film, television, and engineering design.
