Boy and his dog serial
“Fish,” which begins on TV2 at 4.55 p.m. next Monday, is based on a story of a lonely young boy and his dog. Fish—his real name is James Barnes—leads an unhappy life in a village in Wales. He finds it difficult to mix wit hothers at school and is misunderstood by his father at home. His step-’ mother seems to be the only person who understands him.
The series begins when Fish finds a stray dog which he names Floss, and this changes his life. Floss gives him the confidence he needs to mix with others at school
Consisting of four halfhour episodes, the serial was shot entirely on location in South Wales and stars David Hogarth as Fish and Alan Jones as his friend, Jimmy Price.
