‘Cut’ out of P.O. contract

(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. Surprise that a middleman had got a “cut*’ out of a Post Office maildelivery contract was expressed today by the No. 6 Transport Licensing Authority (Mr E. C. Campbel!) at a hearing in New Plymouth. The Authority heard Minis[try of Transport evidence that [a Stratford man had “subicontracted” his contract to at [least four persons since 1965. The Ministry’s investigating officer (Mr B. G. Bougen) isaid that Mr C. W.
