Tennis.—Chris Evert, of the United States, lost , only one game in defeating Virginia Wade, of Britain, 6-0, 6-1, in the rain-delayed final of the $U575,000 Westchester women’s tennis classic only two days before she opens her bid for the U.S. Open championship.
