Injury hits Juniors
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The big Auckland lock, John Allen, is out of the New Zealand Juniors’ Rugby test against Rumania at Athletic Park on Saturday. Allen, who made a great impression with his line-out jumping wjien Auckland beat Wellington for the Ranfurly Shield last year, injured his eye playing for his union against Canterbury last Saturday.
His place will be taken by Graeme Coleman, of Wanganui. The Wellington forward, John Wootton, . has been brought in to fill Coleman’s place in the reserves.
Tennis.—Arthur Ashe, this year’s Wimbledon champion, has received the Dewar’s Cup for distinguished service to tennis in 1975 at a luncheon in his honour in New York.
