Contract for tunnels
»,VZ. WELLINGTON. Aug 27. The contract for driving tunnels into the new State coal mine at Huntly has been awarded jointly to Cementa non Company (N Z.j. Ltd. and Green and McCahill Con tractors. Ltd. the .Minister of Mines (Mr Colman) announced today. The contract involves two 1000-metrr tunnels, and is worth about s7m The completion date is Mav. 1977.
