Ski squads shaken up
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. The national ski-ing squads have been greatly changed after the third major race event of the New Zealand circuit, the Coronet Cup. Mike Unger (Christchurch), Bruce Mills (Queenstown), Paula Groves (Alexandra), and Colin Wallis (Otago University) have been dropped from the B squad. Jonell Mills (Queenstown) and Jon Jarvis (Hamilton) have been relegated from the A squad to the B squad, Linda Nelson (Christchurch) has been dropped completely, and Moea Armstrong (Hawera) has retired. This leaves an A squad of three — Brett Kendall (Auckland), Sue Gibson (Otago University), and Janet Wells (Otago University).
Robin Armstrong (Hawera), Shane Herbert ’(Dunedin), Ben Nanasca, Stuart Blakely, and Helen Klisser (all Auckland) retain their places in the B squad. They are joined, for the first time, by Hanlin Johnstone (Dunedin), Graham Gilkison (Canterbury University), Rachel Wells, Anna Archibald, Julia Allison, and Fiona Johnson (all Canterbury).
