EDUCATION: Universitt entrance qualification including mathematics and phvsics or sixth form certificate of grade five or better in at least mathematics and physics. REQUIREMENTS: AppliI vans should have a definite interest in radio and electronics and must not be colour blind. TRAINING: Cadets receive practical training at the Ministry establishments at Christohurch and Wellington, together with davtlme tuition at a technical institute. Cadets are required to study for the Radio Technicians Certificate and the Supplementary Certificate in Radio, together with radar and line communicaion to Ministrystandards. The full training period covers four years. Cadets are bonded on appointment to remain in the Public Service for not less tnan three years after completion of study- for the Supplementary Certificate.
