Cliff Leney, who has shared the goal-kicking with Lewis Hudson for Linwood this season, became the fourth Rugby league player to exceed 100 points during the club premiership when he gained a try and six goals against Addington.
With a total of 103 points from seven tries and 41 goals, Leney trails Francis Lawrence (Kaiapoi, 171 points), Bruce Dickison (Christ-church-Eastern Suburbs, 170) and Michael O’Donnell (iMarist-West-em Suburbs, 135) on the individual scoring table.
