More petrol used
(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON. Aug. 20. Petrol revenue ’was a little more bouyant than had been expected, the deputy chairman of the National Roads Board (Mr J. S. Thom) told the board’s meeting in Wellington today. In June 156.161 m litres of petrol were used, compared with 162.846 m for June last year, and the total used so far this year was 2.02 per cent up on the corresponding period last year.
