I ’ I The appointee will be responsible to the Secretary for Works for the H > co-ordination, direction and control of the operations of the Depart- H | ment of Works and Community Services which has a work-force of H about 350 Nauruan and other Pacific Islanders and 150 Chinese. Hi He will be responsible for building construction and maintenance, H I an active housing programme, the electrical and mechanical work- H shops, the bulk stores and the public transport and community services operated by the Department. i . ! Qualifications: The successful applicant will be a qualified engineer Hi (Civil Engineering), an associate member of the Institute of Engineers.
