S.I. ball for members of Link Assn
Migrant organisations and societies will gather in the' Town Hall’s Limes Room on! August 2 for a ball. The ball is being run by; the Link Association, which! includes more than 500. organisations. It has been! running about six years. Those attending have been! : asked to dress in national; jcostume. Entertainment will; Ibe provided by two Spanish' ' dancers. This will be the first time [that the association has held a ball in the South Island. Groups will come from Dunedin. Timaru and Blenheim. The Minister of Immigration (Mr Colman), and the! member of Parliament for: Papanui (Mr H. J. Walker) and Mrs Walker will attend.
