Sale of fireworks

Sir, — In reply to your editorial in “The Press,” "last week, we would like to put forward a few ideas on why fireworks should not be banned. First, preventing the buying of fireworks will mean that amateurs will attempt to make their own. This could cause serious injuries or even death. If fireworks are not sold it "will mean a serious loss to the manufacturers and also a drop in staff. Let us continue with fireworks on November 5. — Yours, etc., ROOM 3, 1 WESTBURN PRIMARY SCHOOL. July 23, 1975.
