Te Awamutu rider wins horse trials

j’ Zealand Press Association) TIMARU. Kathy Otto, of Te Awamutu, riding her horse, York, won the Forest Gate trophy at Otaio, South Canterbury, on Sunday, the major event of the most testing of one-day horse trials in New Zealand.

The ground was firm for the ■ large entry of more than 70 riders in this section.
