Man fired into wall
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. ■ A middle-aged man on the • Gold Coast on Sunday night I fired 11 rifle shots into the' {wall of his house and then ‘called the police. He asked I them to bring his doctor. : In the North Shore Magis-’ • trate’s Court on Sunday the j ■ man, whose name was suppressed, admitted to the i charge of discharging a fire-; arm. He was convicted by Mr j. |H. Murray, S.M., and reImanded on $2OO bail until; next Monday for a probation ’ report. i Sergeant. L. H. Green said. I that the doctor went into the. ■ house and talked the man ;into giving up the rifle. Police i Then found 11 bullet holes! in the walls and some had; oenctrated to the outside.' They found several rifles in I the house. Counsel, Mr C.
