Pty, Ltd, has cut its divi-i. dend rate by 24.5 per cent!® after a fall in trading profitia of 3.3 per cent to $2.6m in; the year to December 31. ■ Extraordinary items of a profit totalling $530,000 were _ mainly future tax benefits. ■ Austral paid two dividends a of $500,000 for the year, _ compared with an interim of 1 " $615,000, and a final of ■ $750,000 in 1973. - Austral is 60 per cent " owned by Metal Manufac- ■ tures. whose major share- g holders are British Insulated Callender’s Cables, Ltd (62.5 ■ per cent) BH South, Ltd (19.4 ■ per cent) and North Broken " Hill, Ltd (15.6 per cent).
