Shooting in Beirut

BEIRUT, June 24.
Firing broke out between armed militia early today in Beirut suburbs which were the scene of heavy fighting last month between Rightwingers and Palestinians, police said. Police said that the firing, in the suburbs of Ain alRummaneh and Shiyyahe had halted.
Security patrols in the area had been reinforced and the situation was under control, a police spokesman said.
